Kill O' The Grange National School, Co. Dublin

Welcome

Kill o’ the Grange National School opened its doors in 1963 and is now in a beautiful new building since 2004. Our co-educational school is managed by a Board of Management, which is comprised of the Kill o' the Grange Parish Rector, the principal, parish nominees alongside both teacher and parent nominees. The objective of the School is to promote a happy, intimate and caring environment inclusive to all. A place of learning that teaches Christian values and instils strong values and self worth so our pupils are given the opportunity to meet their potential. It is a school that recognises every child as an individual.

As the excitement of December transcends on our school we have a number of events in the school calendar to look forward to.

The School Fair takes place on Saturday December 7th 2024 from 10am - 1pm

Junior Carol Service is at 12 noon on Tuesday 17th December

Senior Carol Service is at 7pm on Wednesday 18th December

School will close for Christmas at 12 noon on Friday 20th December.

We would like to wish everyone in our community a very Happy Christmas.

Each of our students belong to a house. Each of our houses are named after a colour (as you can see from this table) and siblings are placed within the same House.

Throughout the academic year the students are awarded points based on merits achieved across the school, whether it is small gestures of kindness, sporting achievements or exceptional behaviour shown towards their peers they are guided monthly by goals set out by the student council.

These goals are identified as qualities each student must demonstrate during the month to be awarded points: Resilience, Optimism and Kindness, to name a few.

Alongside these traits and behaviours students can also win points by using the route to school options every Thursday. Follow here to see how your or your family members' house is doing!
